Overview

The COUGAR CFV235 Series Mid Tower (White) features a striking “floating” central frame that separates the PSU and main chamber for enhanced 270° airflow. It supports GPUs up to 430 mm, offers generous cooling options (including a 360 mm top radiator), and includes a USB-C port, RGB/fan hub, and magnetic dust filters — making it a powerful and stylish case with both form and airflow.

The COUGAR CFV235 Mid-Tower (White) is a striking and futuristic PC case that truly embodies its motto, “Float in Form. Flow in Function.” The heart of its design is the Central Floating Ventilation (CFV) structure, which splits the PSU and drive chamber from the main motherboard compartment, leaving a floating void between them — this not only looks visually unique but also dramatically improves airflow by giving 270° of ventilation access into that central space. The case is built with a 1.5 mm steel frame, so despite the “floating” architecture, it remains structurally rigid and solid.

In terms of cooling, the CFV235 comes with a couple of pre-installed ARGB fans (a Unity 240 PWM reversed fan on the motherboard side plus a 120 mm ARGB PWM fan at the rear) and supports up to 9 fans total — you can mount 3 × 120 mm or 140 mm on top, 3 × 120 mm at the bottom, 2 × 120 mm along the motherboard side, plus the rear fan. On the liquid cooling front, it supports a 360 mm radiator on top, giving you plenty of flexibility for high-performance cooling setups.

Storage-wise, the case provides 2 × 3.5″ bays plus 2 + 2 × 2.5″ SSD mounts, so you can easily fit both large HDDs and multiple SSDs. For graphics cards, it supports GPUs up to 430 mm in length, and CPU cooler height clearance is around 175 mm, while PSUs up to 200 mm long will fit comfortably.

The front I/O is quite modern — you get a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port, two USB-A 3.0s, a 4-pole headset jack, and an RGB button for lighting control, giving you both speed and style. Speaking of lighting: there’s a magnetic Aurora LED strip integrated into the floating mid-section, casting a soft RGB glow in that open void and emphasizing the case’s architectural design.

In white, this case has a clean, futuristic aesthetic — ideal for builders who want a premium look without going all-black. However, because of its open floating core, building inside it requires thoughtful cable management to avoid spoiling the clean look, and you'll need to plan your airflow direction carefully to maximize the benefits of that central ventilation gap.
