MSI GeForce RTX 5090 GAMING VANGUARD 32G SOC
The MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Gaming Vanguard 32G SoC is MSI’s top-tier GPU, tailored for enthusiasts seeking the best in performance, cooling, and style. It’s powered by NVIDIA’s full Blackwell architecture, featuring 21,760 CUDA cores and 32 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512‑bit bus—delivering a colossal 1.79 TB/s of memory bandwidth. The card ships factory-overclocked, pushing boost clocks up to approximately 2,527 MHz in Extreme Performance mode, while maintaining a lower 2,512 MHz in standard Gaming and Silent modes.
To keep this powerhouse cool, MSI outfits it with a robust Hyper Frozr thermal design featuring three large Stormforce axial fans (110 mm each), a nickel-plated copper baseplate, heat pipes, wave-curved fins, and a reinforced full-length metal backplate. Zero Frozr technology ensures complete fan stop at idle for silent desktop usage. Even under load with a 575 W TDP, the card maintains efficient cooling and moderate noise levels.
Physically, the Gaming Vanguard SoC is a substantial card at 357 × 151 × 76 mm and weighs around 2.4 kg. It requires a single 16‑pin PCIe Gen‑5 power connector and is best paired with at least a 1,000 W PSU. Output options include three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b, supporting resolutions up to 8K at 120 Hz or 4K at 480 Hz with DSC across up to four displays.
Under the hood, the GPU offers leading-edge features like fourth-generation ray tracing cores, fifth-gen Tensor cores for DLSS 4 and other AI workloads, Resizable BAR, NVIDIA Reflex, and full NVIDIA Studio/Broadcast support. In benchmarks, it achieves over 110 TFLOPS of FP32 performance and delivers a solid ~26,000 in 3DMark Time Spy Extreme—around 2–3 % faster than the standard RTX 5090.
Overall, the RTX 5090 Gaming Vanguard SoC merges top-tier computational power and VRAM capacity with elite thermal performance and builder-friendly design. It's an ideal choice for 4K/8K gamers, VR developers, and creative pros—just be sure you have a roomy case and a massive PSU to handle it.
