Skyloong GK87 Pro
The SKYLOONG GK87 Pro is a premium tenkeyless mechanical keyboard designed for enthusiasts who value customizability, high-end features, and a unique user experience. With 87 keys in a compact layout, it offers all the essential functions of a full-size keyboard without the number pad, freeing up desk space and offering better ergonomics.
One of its standout features is the built-in 1.7-inch TFT LCD screen, positioned above the arrow keys. This vibrant display can be customized to show system information such as battery life, time, custom images, animated GIFs, or even dynamic backgrounds. For those who prefer a more traditional look, the screen module can be removed and replaced with additional switches, thanks to the keyboard’s modular design.
The GK87 Pro supports hot-swappable switches, compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, allowing users to change their typing experience without soldering. It also features swappable knob modules—three are included out of the box, with support for up to six knobs. These knobs can be programmed to control media, volume, lighting, or any function of choice through the onboard or software configuration.
Internally, the keyboard is built using a shallow gasket-mounted structure with multiple layers of sound-dampening foam. This design reduces hollow acoustics and provides a soft, cushioned typing feel, resulting in a smooth, premium sound profile often described as “marbly” or “thocky.” The GK87 Pro comes with high-quality double-shot PBT keycaps in MDA profile, known for their durability and comfort.
Connectivity is versatile and reliable. The keyboard offers triple-mode support: wired USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.x. It can pair with multiple devices and easily switch between them. A large 7200mAh rechargeable battery powers the wireless modes, providing up to 500 hours of use without backlighting and around 200 hours with low RGB lighting enabled.
