The TR-TA120 EX V2 is a second-generation, performance-refined 120mm tower air cooler meticulously designed for enthusiasts, gamers, and creators who demand superior thermal regulation, near-silent operation, and seamless hardware compatibility all packed into a compact vertical form factor that doesn’t compromise on capability or elegance. Featuring a robust tower-style heatsink built with high-density aluminum fins, the V2 model improves upon its predecessor with upgraded structural airflow pathways and a reengineered base contact plate that enhances heat transfer efficiency. It is equipped with five direct-touch copper heat pipes, each finely polished and precisely curved to make full surface contact with your CPU’s IHS, ensuring rapid and consistent heat absorption and distribution across the entire fin array. This cutting-edge thermal system is paired with a newly optimized 120mm high-pressure PWM fan, designed to deliver intense airflow while maintaining ultra-low noise output thanks to its fluid dynamic bearing system and noise-dampening rubber mounts. The fan’s aerodynamic blade design minimizes turbulence while maximizing air delivery through the heatsink, allowing it to effectively cool modern processors — including Intel Core i9 or AMD Ryzen 9 series chips — even under high loads such as AAA gaming, 3D rendering, streaming, and multitasking. The V2's refined mounting system ensures easier installation, improved bracket stability, and consistent pressure across the CPU die, while its universally compatible base supports Intel LGA 115X / 1200 / 1700 and AMD AM4 / AM5 sockets, making it future-proof and ready for the latest-gen chipsets. Despite its powerful design, the TR-TA120 EX V2 boasts excellent RAM clearance and a compact footprint, making it ideal for mid-tower and even some mATX cases where space optimization is key without sacrificing cooling potential. For users who appreciate clean aesthetics, the cooler’s sleek industrial design — often finished in black, gunmetal, or neutral tones — blends naturally into both RGB-heavy systems and stealthy blackout builds, allowing it to complement any build theme without overpowering the visual layout. Some variants may feature ARGB lighting on the fan, giving users access to dynamic effects synced via ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and more, letting the cooler become a central aesthetic feature as well. With its top-tier build quality, easy installation, quiet yet aggressive thermal performance, and exceptional value for its class, the TR-TA120 EX V2 is a premium air cooling solution that rivals many entry-level liquid coolers — delivering elite-tier thermals, low-noise operation, broad socket support, and dependable durability, all in a cooler that fits easily into most PC cases without hassle. Whether you're assembling a clean gaming build, a professional workstation, or a compact performance-focused rig, the TR-TA120 EX V2 offers the ultimate balance of performance, silence, and simplicity — proving that size doesn’t limit strength when engineering is done righThe TR-TA120 EX V2 is a high-performance 120mm tower air CPU cooler engineered for demanding PC users who expect advanced thermal control, ultra-quiet operation, and a refined, modern aesthetic in a compact vertical form factor. Designed to handle today’s high-core-count processors with remarkable efficiency, this cooler features a dense aluminum fin-stack heatsink optimized for maximum surface area and thermal dissipation. At its core, the direct-contact copper heat pipes — upgraded and fine-tuned in the V2 edition — rapidly absorb heat from the CPU’s IHS and transfer it through precision-aligned fins, ensuring consistently low temperatures even under intense workloads such as AAA gaming, high-resolution content creation, or simultaneous streaming and multitasking. The TR-TA120 EX V2 is equipped with a 120mm high-static-pressure PWM fan, finely balanced for airflow, pressure, and low noise. With fluid dynamic bearings and vibration-dampening pads, the fan delivers smooth, quiet operation and extended durability, allowing your system to stay cool and silent even during extended operation. The design reflects a clean, professional appearance, often featuring a black or stealth-coated finish, perfect for both RGB-heavy builds and blackout aesthetics. Despite its powerful cooling capability, the cooler maintains a low-profile footprint that ensures 100% RAM compatibility on most mainstream platforms, making it ideal for compact ATX or microATX builds where space is limited but performance is non-negotiable. The V2 upgrade often includes enhanced mounting hardware with improved pressure distribution and easier installation across multiple platforms, including support for Intel LGA 115x / 1200 / 1700 and AMD AM4 / AM5 sockets. The TR-TA120 EX V2 is built for modern builders who want maximum value, top-tier thermals, whisper-quiet acoustics, and universal compatibility in one neatly engineered package. Whether you're assembling a balanced mid-tier gaming system or need a rock-solid cooler for workstation reliability, the TR-TA120 EX V2 stands as a benchmark in the 120mm air cooling segment — combining thermal finesse, structural quality, and next-gen hardware readiness in a single, powerful solution.
