The Burst Assassin 120 ARGB Black is built around six 6 mm nickel-plated pure copper heat pipes paired with a C1100 copper base, delivering efficient and rapid heat transfer from your CPU through a dense fin stack. The heatsink measures approximately 124 mm (length) × 52 mm (width) × 154 mm (height) and weighs about 510 grams, giving it enough mass and surface area to handle demanding workloads, yet still fitting in many mid-tower and larger cases. It comes with a 120 mm ARGB fan (model TL-C12CG-S) that spins up to 1,550 RPM (±10%), capable of pushing around 66.17 CFM of airflow with static pressure of about 1.53 mm H₂O, which is solid for a cooler of this form factor. Despite its performance, the noise output remains reasonable at about 25.6 dBA under full load, thanks in part to its S-FDB bearing for smoother, quieter operation. ARGB lighting adds aesthetic value, via a standard 5V 3-pin ARGB header for sync with motherboard RGB software. Socket compatibility is wide, supporting Intel’s LGA115X, 1200, 1700, and 1851 platforms, as well as AMD’s AM4 and AM5 platforms—making it suitable for both current and next-generation builds. Overall, the Burst Assassin 120 ARGB Black offers strong thermal headroom, good noise control, and appealing visuals, making it an excellent option for users who want a capable cooler without moving to large dual-tower or liquid cooling solutions.
