XPG 1300W PLATINUM CYBERCORE II Gaming Power Supply MODULAR
The XPG CYBERCORE II 1300W PLATINUM is a fully modular, high-performance power supply engineered for demanding gaming rigs, workstations, and future-proof builds. It outputs 1300 watts of continuous power, supported by a single +12 V rail that can also handle brief power spikes up to approximately 2600 W—enough to accommodate power-hungry next-gen GPUs. With both 80 PLUS Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum (ETA) plus Lambda A‑ ratings, it delivers top-tier efficiency—over 93% at 50% load—and quiet operation under moderate use . The compact chassis (160 × 150 × 86 mm) houses a premium 120 mm XPG VENTO PRO fan by Nidec on a dual-ball setup, offering long lifespan (~60,000 hours at 60 °C) and an intelligent fan curve that keeps it silent at low loads before ramping up under heavier use .
Internally built on a trusted CWT platform, it features all-Japanese 105 °C capacitors, digital power management, interleaved PFC, and DC-to-DC converters for tight voltage regulation and low ripple . It includes full support for ATX 3.0, Intel’s latest power standards, and a native 12VHPWR 12+4‑pin connector—so there’s no need for adapters when pairing with high-end graphics cards .
Protection-wise, the CYBERCORE II offers a complete array of safeguards including OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, OTP, SCP, NLO, and SIP, along with a 10‑year warranty in many regions . In independent testing, it matched or exceeded Platinum efficiency claims across different input voltages, and maintained silent operation up to around 600 W before the fan kicked in—though full-load fan noise can increase significantly .
Community feedback is varied: while some praise its performance and modular design, a few users reported firmware or compatibility issues in very specific setups . Overall, however, it is widely considered a tier-A, high-end PSU offering excellent voltage stability, efficiency, and modern connectivity—making it an excellent choice for enthusiasts or professionals who need robust, future-ready power delivery.
